OUR MINISTRY VALUES
Discipleship and Training – Spiritual formation and growth opportunities including Bible studies, theology seminars, and conferences.
Community – Fostering healthy intergenerational relationships including retreats, social activities, worship nights, etc.
Outreach – Ministry service and evangelistic opportunities including special events focused on evangelism, ministry to the homebound & assisted living, knitting ministry, mission trips, etc.

Kristie Harrick, Women’s Ministry Director
After graduating from Mississippi State University, Kristie attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and earned her Master of Divinity. Since 2017, she has been encouraging and equipping women of Briarwood in their walk with the Lord. She especially finds joy in providing opportunities for women to study the Word of God and connect with other women as the body of Christ.

Briarwood Christian School (BCS) Mom’s Study

COMMUNITY
Mom Groups
We offer two community groups for moms: Mom-2-Mom is our monthly event where older mothers share advice with younger mothers to build relationships and help guide them through new challenges. Our Mom’s Prayer Group meets each week to pray for our families and children.

Mentoring Opportunities
Mentoring, Life on Life Relationships, and Discipleship are all terms that seem to be interchangeable in the Christian world. However, we each come to these terms with very different ideas and expectations. To learn more, please contact the Women's Ministry office.

OUTREACH
L.O.V.E. Ministry
The LOVE Ministry is an outreach to members who are no longer able to attend regular services at the church due to mobility or health-related issues. Each Monday morning the LOVE Ministry members gather at the flower room to pick up vases of flowers to deliver to members in senior living homes, nursing homes and assisted living homes.

Flower Guild
The Flower Guild members are responsible for the Sunday Worship flowers and Church wide special events flowers. This is a great ministry to be apart of if you love flowers and connecting with women as you make arrangements. Contact us to get involved.

Threads of Comfort
Briarwood’s Knitting ministry meets every Wednesday from 10:00 –11:30 a.m. in A205 (on the 2nd floor of the administration bldg.) This is a great opportunity to learn, so grab your needles and come join the fun! Learn more on the Women's Event page.
