BRIARWOOD NURSERY MINISTRY
We are committed to creating a safe, caring, and spiritually nurturing environment for children while parents participate in worship. Our nursery cares for two-month-olds through four-year-olds by providing age-appropriate activities in a clean and secure environment.

Angie Neugent, Nursery Director

Angie graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s in Instrumental Music Education. She first began working at Briarwood in 2019 and began her current role as Nursery Director in 2025. She loves having the opportunity to create an environment for laying the foundation of Truth in the lives of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. She aims to provide an atmosphere of intentionality and joy for the little ones while parents are involved in fellowship, ministry, and discipleship. Angie married her husband Chris in 2002, and together they have 7 children.  They have been attending Briarwood since 2011.

NURSERY INFORMATION:

SUNDAY NURSERY:

Sunday Mornings: 8:00 AM – 12:15 PM, ages 8-weeks through 3-years-old

Sunday Evenings: 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM, ages 8-weeks through 3-years-old

Wednesday Nights (Reservation required): 6:00PM – 8:00PM, ages 8-weeks through 3-years-old

Weekday Drop-in Nursery, Monday – Thursday  (Reservation required – Briarwood members only): 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, ages 8-weeks through 4-years-old.

WEEKDAY NURSERY:
Weekday Nursery is available to children ages 8-weeks through 4-years-old.  (This includes children that turn 5-years-old during the school year or the summer that follows the school year).

Weekday Nursery is open for children whose caregiver is attending a Bible study or ministry event hosted through Briarwood Presbyterian Church. Weekday Nursery is also open for ‘Drop-In’ care, as a ministry to our Briarwood Presbyterian Church members. This is nursery care reserved for the personal use of Briarwood Church members, only.

Weekday Nursery use requires a reservation 24-hour in advance.

Where to Drop-off Your Child
This is where the description goes.
What to Bring
When packing a diaper bag, please include the following:

• Two or more disposable diapers
• Pacifier or other items for comfort
• A change of clothes in the event of an accident
• Any necessary bottles or snacks (no nuts please)
• Please be sure to label all items
Well Child Policy
We ask that you please keep your child at home if they are feeling sick or showing any signs of illness. Children should be free of any contagious symptoms for at least 24 hours before attending. This helps us maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
