Sunday, May 10 — Briarwood Prayer Focus
On this Ascension Sunday, let us praise Jesus as “the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us” (Romans 8:34). As we live in the freedom of His death and resurrection, may we bring all our thanksgiving and supplication to Jesus with confidence, knowing that He is constantly interceding for us to the Father.
Monday, May 11 — Birmingham Prayer Focus
Pray for Restoration Academy as they seek to shape each student’s life around the two greatest commandments—to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others as themselves. Pray also for the graduating seniors, that they would walk in wisdom, courage, and unwavering faith as they enter this next season of life.
Tuesday, May 12 — Missions Prayer Focus
Pray for continuing relationships with international students, even as some graduate and move back to their home countries, or get jobs in other cities. Pray that friendships will continue despite distance. Pray that gospel opportunities will occur and that God would draw many to Himself through Friendship Partner relationships and One on One Bible Reading. The flag of China will be featured in the Worship Center this Sunday.
