Praise God for His wholehearted love for His people. Pray that as we continue this series on the book of Deuteronomy together, we would grow to love these commands and love to obey them, as Psalm 119:47 says, “For I delight in Your commands because I love them.”
Monday, September 28 — Birmingham Prayer Focus
Pray for Blanket Fort Hope, a ministry serving child survivors of human trafficking. Pray for God’s guidance as they provide housing, trauma care, counseling, education and the hope found in Christ.
Tuesday, September 29 — Missions Prayer Focus
Praise the Lord for the several new Japanese ESL students that He has brought to class! Pray that they may have peace as they are adjusting to life in a foreign country, that they find community among Christians, and that their hearts may be softened to receive the good news of Jesus Christ. The flag of Japan will be featured in the Worship Center this Sunday.
