There are three weeks in the life of our church where I am reminded why I love
Briarwood so much—Walk Through Nativity, Global Ministry Conference, and
Vacation Bible School. I’m sure there are other wonderful weeks but for me personally,
these are the BIG THREE, and I believe every member should try and take part in each
of these in some way each year.
One of these, Vacation Bible School, is fast approaching, and I would like to encourage
you to find a way to be a part of the fun. Bring your children, grandchildren, neighbors,
or a friend. VBS is a big, fun, week-long
celebration, and I know it will be a great way to kick off a fun filled summer at Briarwood!

International Vacation Bible School
Join us this summer for a joyful and enriching week at our Adult International Vacation Bible School (I-VBS).
Experience a welcoming environment where you can practice English, enjoy delicious food, explore the Bible, and get creative with fun crafts. It’s a great opportunity to learn, connect, and grow together in community. Have kids? Children entering 6th grade or younger are invited to join our Children’s VBS for their own exciting program! Best of all, I-VBS is completely FREE—and optional event t-shirts are available for just $10. We can’t wait to spend this special week with you!

In the Nursery, we take care of the children of those who are volunteering for “Big” VBS or Nursery VBS. Our 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s have themes for the week and learn about God’s wonderful creation and His love for us. The 2 month-olds through 1 year-olds learn about God’s love as they are loved on by our staff.

Our goal at Briarwood is to make the Gospel accessible to all, as the Body of Christ shows equal concern for people with disabilities and their families. Our Ministry to children and adults with special needs is called Special Connections.
