Dear Congregation,
It is with a deeply heavy heart that I communicate to you that our Lord has called Pastor Reeder home through a car accident. Please pray for Cindy, Jennifer, Ike, Abby and their entire family as well as our staff and church family as we all grieve this tremendous loss together. But we do not grieve without hope because we know our pastor is with His Savior and has been received by grace with – “Well done My good and faithful servant.”
As we grieve together as a church family we lift our hearts toward our God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of all mercies, the God of all comfort. For He comforts each of us in all our afflictions so that we may be able to comfort one another with the comfort that comes from Him. And He comforts all of us together with our brothers and sisters around the world as we praise Him for receiving our Pastor into His presence and at the same time mourn the great loss for us. We lift the Reeder family before our Lord asking Him to be their refuge and to use us in their lives as a manifestation of His deep love and care for each of them. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the Name of the LORD! – Bruce Stallings
In Christ our Lord!
