Growing Together - “God at Work Among His People” • God at Work Among His People: Ezra-Nehemiah. God is faithful to Himself, fulfilling every one of His promises, including the promise to set apart a people for Himself who will follow Him faithfully according to His Word. In Ezra-Nehemiah, God’s steadfast love takes center stage as He returns His covenant people from exile, restores proper worship in His temple, renews His people in light of His Word, and rebuilds the walls of David’s city. Yet this narrative leaves a nagging sense that something is missing. God’s work among His people still needed what would take place 400 years later. As God’s plan continues to unfold today, this study will help us see how God is at work among His people in every generation until Jesus returns. Teacher: Jim Alexander
