Walk Through Nativity 2024
“Joy to the World, The Lord is Come!”
You are invited to participate in one of Briarwood’s most fun, creative, and impactful events, the Walk Through Nativity 2024. Mark your calendars now for this year’s event, which will be on December 11, 12, and 13 (Wednesday through Friday) from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
The Walk Through Nativity is a wonderful event where everyone can use their gifts and talents to share the true Christmas Story with our friends and neighbors in Birmingham. We reach about 8,000 viewers each year who will hear the wonderful Good News of Jesus Christ. We need over 700 volunteers to serve during this three night event. This letter is offering every Briarwood Church member an opportunity to sign up and participate in this wonderful ministry. We hope letting you know the dates this early will help you get involved and avoid as many scheduling conflicts as possible.
Please take a minute to sign up to help in one of the needed areas. You can go to briarwood.org/nativity or scan this QR code and scroll down to sign up! If you prefer, you can fill out the printed form you received in the mail and bring it to the church.
The week of November 25, all who volunteer will receive a confirmation postcard. In addition, be on the lookout for an email to be sent to you during the first week of December that will have your specific assignment, including the day and time you are scheduled.
We need your involvement to make this a success. This also is an excellent way to get to know others in our Church family and to establish a tradition with friends and family who will anticipate this event each year. I hope you will join us.
