Men’s Masterclass Saturday

Men of all ages, we invite you to our first-ever Men’s Masterclass Saturday on May 17 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. If you want to learn a new hobby, enjoy fellowship with other men at our church, and eat great food— this event is for you! Masterclass focuses on developing skills, meeting new people, and building friendships.
What To Expect

On that Saturday, everyone will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 10 a.m. before breaking off into groups based on your chosen hobby. You will spend an hour learning from a teacher and practicing this skill. Then, everyone will come back together to enjoy a lunch of delicious wings and sausages. While you’re eating, a speaker will give a short, encouraging message about the importance of friendship and accountability. There may even be a comedy segment filled with corny dad jokes, so you won’t want to miss it! You will have the opportunity to learn one of these four hobbies:
Pickleball
Golf
Fly Fishing
Barbecuing
The Goal

This is a casual event meant to foster quality fellowship and create fun memories. While there is a speaker, he is not the focus of the event. Instead, you are encouraged to focus on getting to know each other’s lives and enjoy the relational aspect of the Christian Walk. This is not only meant for members of Men of the Covenant, but for any men who love fun and food— so all of them! Fathers are encouraged to bring their sons, and everyone is encouraged to bring their friends.

Registration

This event is completely free, but registration is required so that we can prepare enough food for everyone. Please register online at briarwood.org/men. You will be asked to select one of the four hobbies offered when you register. Hope to see your there!
